The Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division has released its 2021-2024 Civil Rights Division Highlights Report, showcasing its achievements in enforcing civil rights laws and the Constitution over the past four years.
The report highlights critical efforts across the division’s 11 sections, where dedicated staff and leadership worked tirelessly to hold accountable those who harmed, threatened, or intimidated individuals based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, English proficiency, or disability status.
“Our Civil Rights Division has relentlessly pursued justice for our nation’s most vulnerable by enforcing civil rights laws, combating hate and exploitation, promoting fairness and accountability in our criminal justice system, strengthening democracy, and expanding opportunities for all.
